Job Context

DuSai Hotel & Resorts Ltd., a premier 5-star resort in Moulvibazar, Sylhet, is hiring a highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven hospitality professional for the position of Head of Sales. The selected candidate will lead the sales team, develop strategic sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence to achieve key business objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to hit revenue, room occupancy, and profitability goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance and meet objectives.

  • Identify and capture new business opportunities across corporate, government, travel trade, MICE, and leisure segments.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and business partners.

  • Prepare annual sales budgets, accurate revenue forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to uncover growth opportunities.

  • Coordinate with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, and F&B departments to maximize sales performance.

  • Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, property inspections, and contract negotiations.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for executive leadership.

  • Drive individual and departmental sales targets while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

  • Represent the resort at trade fairs, industry exhibitions, networking events, and promotional activities.

  • Establish sales policies, competitive pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns alongside management.

 

  • Oversee and evaluate team performance through continuous coaching and targeted performance management.
