✔ Age: 22 to 30 years.

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. The educational requirement may be relaxed for candidates with strong relevant experience.

✔ 1–3 years of practical experience in web-based application development, primarily using Oracle APEX. Experience in the healthcare/HMS domain will be considered a strong advantage.

✔ Good working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Report Builder, and WebLogic/ORDS setup and configuration.

✔ Ability to support the analysis, architectural design, development, testing, and documentation of complex data conversion and integration solutions for hospital and clinical systems.

✔ Basic understanding of hospital workflows such as OPD/IPD, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, and nursing operations is preferred. Willingness to learn healthcare domain processes is essential.

✔ Ability to assist in identifying process improvements, project goals, and objectives and contribute to the evaluation of project proposals.

✔ Ability to act as a liaison between hospital end users, including administration, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, and nursing staff, and technical/business teams to ensure system reliability and smooth operation.

✔ Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve production support issues calmly and efficiently while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and hospital staff.

✔ Comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented environment while handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

✔ Professional certifications in Oracle Database or Oracle APEX will be considered an added advantage.

✔ Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills, particularly when handling urgent production support issues.

✔ Willingness to assist senior developers and provide efficient technical support to ensure smooth service delivery and user satisfaction.

✔ Commitment to continuous professional development through training, educational workshops, technical learning, and professional networking.

Skills

Responsibilities & Context

✔ Develop, debug, maintain, and enhance Hospital Management System (HMS) modules, including Patient Registration, OPD/IPD, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory/LIS, and Reporting.

✔ Assist in developing custom web-based applications and software solutions using Oracle APEX and JavaScript.

✔ Provide day-to-day production support for live HMS deployments by troubleshooting incidents, investigating data and reporting discrepancies, and coordinating timely fixes within defined SLA requirements.

✔ Support the integration of HMS with laboratory/diagnostic equipment and third-party systems, including LIS/ASTM device interfaces and biometric/attendance systems, where applicable.

✔ Perform system analysis and application design for new and existing hospital management modules.

✔ Assist in system and application architecture planning, translating hospital business requirements into functional application prototypes.

✔ Develop and customize user interfaces based on design requirements and adapt them to clinical and administrative hospital workflows.

✔ Participate in the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, code reviews, and defect identification.

✔ Conduct code and test inspections to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and defects.

✔ Collaborate with hospital users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.

✔ Handle on-call and rotational support for critical hospital systems when required, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted support for essential patient-care operations.

✔ Maintain proper technical documentation related to system changes, incidents, configurations, integrations, and application enhancements.
