✔ Must be professionally eligible and authorized to sign and certify architectural drawings for submission to RAJUK and other relevant statutory authorities in Bangladesh.
✔ Practical experience in obtaining approvals, permits, and clearances from RAJUK and other regulatory authorities.
✔ Must be a Registered Architect and a valid member of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).
✔ Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in architectural design, project planning, and execution, preferably in large-scale commercial, healthcare, educational, residential, or mixed-use developments.
✔ Proven track record of successfully delivering complex architectural projects from concept development through completion.
✔ Extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
✔ Proven experience coordinating effectively with international consultants, overseas professionals, and cross-functional global teams will be considered an advantage.

To support its ongoing and future development initiatives, STS Group Bangladesh is seeking an experienced, creative, and technically proficient Senior Architect to lead architectural planning, design development, regulatory approvals, consultant coordination, and construction support.
The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading architectural design and planning activities, managing regulatory approvals, coordinating with consultants, and providing architectural support throughout the construction lifecycle. The incumbent will oversee projects from concept development through completion, ensuring compliance with company standards, the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), and all applicable statutory requirements.
The role also involves reviewing, certifying, and signing architectural drawings for submission to RAJUK and other relevant authorities, where professionally authorized.
Reporting to: Chief Engineer, STS Group
✔ Lead architectural planning, conceptual design, and design development for commercial, healthcare, educational, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
✔ Develop innovative, functional, sustainable, and cost-effective architectural solutions aligned with project objectives.
✔ Prepare and review schematic designs, detailed design drawings, construction drawings, technical specifications, and as-built drawings.
✔ Review and approve architectural drawings prepared by consultants, architects, and junior design team members.
✔ Prepare and certify architectural drawings for submission to RAJUK, CDA, KDA, RDA, and other statutory authorities, where professionally authorized.
✔ Ensure all architectural designs comply with BNBC, Fire & Life Safety Codes, accessibility standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
✔ Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior design, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of all project disciplines.
✔ Liaise with RAJUK and other relevant regulatory authorities to facilitate necessary approvals, permits, and statutory clearances.
✔ Conduct design review meetings and resolve architectural, technical, and coordination-related issues.
✔ Provide architectural guidance throughout the construction phase and conduct regular site inspections to ensure work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
✔ Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, samples, and architectural finishes to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
✔ Identify and resolve site-related architectural issues while providing timely technical support to project teams.
✔ Prepare project budgets and architectural cost estimates and monitor project expenditures to maintain cost efficiency.
✔ Develop architectural deliverable schedules and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of design activities.
✔ Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, required quality standards, and established timelines.
✔ Identify potential project risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
✔ Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to architects, draftsmen, and design coordinators.
✔ Maintain effective communication and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
✔ Evaluate new building materials, construction technologies, and sustainable design practices for potential application in projects.
✔ Support procurement activities by reviewing architectural specifications, material requirements, technical documents, and related submissions.
✔ Prepare project reports, presentations, design updates, and other documentation for management review when required.
✔ Perform any other architectural design, planning, coordination, and project execution-related duties assigned by management.
