Additional Requirements
Oversee group-level commercial operations, including import, shipping, customs clearance, and logistics activities across all concerns.
Manage and monitor the opening, amendment, and settlement of Import L/Cs and Back-to-Back L/Cs, along with TT and other banking instruments.
Ensure the timely customs clearance of raw materials, capital machinery, spare parts, and export consignments.
Maintain effective coordination with banks, C&F agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, suppliers, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
Supervise bonded warehouse operations and customs audits while ensuring compliance with applicable customs, VAT, and bonded regulations.
Ensure accurate preparation and verification of commercial documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, insurance documents, and other shipping-related paperwork.
Monitor and ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, customs laws, VAT rules, and applicable international trade policies.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to control costs, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and materials.
Prepare group-level commercial reports, shipment status updates, import-export analyses, and management reports for top management.
Establish and maintain effective liaison with BGMEA, Customs Authorities, Port Authorities, Textile Board, BIDA, and other relevant regulatory organizations.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
